BELL RINGING

Due to Covid-19 restrictions we are currently unable to hold practice nights or host visiting ringers.

We are pleased to have recently re-started ringing for services.

All service ringing is arranged beforehand with the St Nicholas band.

In order to maintain social distancing we can only ring 4 bells (usually the 1, 3, 5, 7) and follow all CofE guidelines.

We have a lovely ring of 8 bells (tenor 12cwt) cast by the Croydon firm Gillett and Johnston.

We are a friendly, enthusiastic band of ringers of all abilities.

Visitors are always welcome to join us on a practice night or a Sunday.

If you are interested in finding out about this ancient art, or if you would like to learn to ring then please contact The Tower Secretary or the Tower Captain.
